The idea was to create a fun and more modern hallway with a little wink to the history of the house ;)
The black and white checkerboard pattern was layed out in a non traditional way and surrounded by a black trim.
We designed the custom paneling ourselves, since the old panelling was removed by the previous owners :( The 2 different blue hues on the walls make the black and white pattern just that bit softer to make it a warm entrance.
