Since we’re still talking about “the boho brick” project, here’s a little peek into the bathroom.
Maximum use of space was the big challenge in this design.
The whole upstairs layout had to go out when starting this project because the bathroom was downstairs in the back of the house. So I had to transform the whole upstairs area into 2 bedrooms and a bath.
Not only the layout, but also the use of materials and colors were important to create a spacious feeling bathroom in a 1,7 x 2,5m bathroom.
A terrazzo floor all the way, including a sunken shower area in the same material and the white shaded zellige on the walls created a whole. The twist came by adding golden tapwear for a nice accent. This makes your eye focus directly on the high vaulted ceiling and white walls.
